so very true, my friend, so very true!
Great pictures! They remind me of when I was a little girl. My mom used to let us play in the rain all the time, and sit on the porch with us during thunderstorms. I have loved storms ever since.
But seriously? I’ve had enough rain now! It’s been pouring here in Houston all day today. It would be a great day to do some gardening if it would just. stop. RAINING.
I totally understand, Kathryn!
We’re still having sporadic rainstorms but, I’ll take it, swampy yard and all 😉
I’m glad we didn’t get the full force of the hurricane!!!!
Stay dry!
Gorgeous pictures! I remember doing that when I was a child. Sooo much fun!
LOVE these pictures.
They brought back memories of my sister and I floating matchsticks down the gutters at the curb. We used to do it for hours!
I passed on the Beautiful Blogger Award to you!

awe, Stacia! You’re so sweet, thank you!
Your posts always make me smile, even the rainy ones, thank you!
and your comments always make ME smile. Miss you sassy pants!
Thought we would get hit yesterday, but didn’t come until this morning. Woke up to rain and storms. Love cozy days home with the kids. We passed the time with legos, play dough, and, of course, cooking:)
Oh, I’m so jealous. I sure do wish we’d get some rain!
You can have it. After 4 or 5 days of this Hurricane induced rain, my swampy yard and I are ready to share 😉
*love* this!
I love this quote so much that I stuck it on a wall in our hallway :). It serves as a constant reminder during trying times.

I love that. I try to remember every day. I DO dance in the rain, it’s more the life lesson that comes from that which I sometimes forget. 🙂
