Pretzel Snowflakes

Delicious snowflake pretzels. A perfect holiday treat by Sara, from Mom Endeavors.

Ingredients

  • Pretzel Sticks
  • White Chocolate or White Candy Bark
  • Sprinkles - white shimmer and/or pearl
  • Wax paper

Instructions

  • On a wax paper coated cookie sheet lay out the pretzels in whatever snowflake formation you'd like
  • Melt your white chocolate or candy bark
  • Coat all the long pretzel sticks in the candy coating, dip in white sugar crystals, lay them back in formation and connect them via the melted candy as best you can
  • Dip and repeat with the smaller pretzel pieces
  • Dip and repeat with each pretzel snowflake
  • Put some white chocolate in baggie with tip cut off or pastry bag and pipe some extra chocolate in the center and as needed to help connect the small pieces.
  • Add any additional sprinkles, decorations, etc. (I used silver dragees).
  • Place in the refrigerator for a few minutes until chilled, gently remove from the wax paper prior to serving/giving.
  • True to real snowflakes, none of these will be “perfect”; they will all be unique; and they should certainly be quite fun to catch on your tongue!
