Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef formed into two - 1/2 lb burger patties
  • 3 strips bacon
  • 2 jalapenos thinly sliced
  • 1/4 yellow onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 slices cheese sharp cheddar, pepper jack
  • 1/4 Cup homemade guacamole
  • 2 small tomatoes thinly sliced
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce chopped
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  • Season the burgers with your favorite seasonings.
  • In a pan over medium-high heat, cook the bacon to your preferred crispness, remove the bacon from the pan and let rest, add the sliced jalapenos and onions and cook them until softened and slightly blackened.
  • Remove the onions and jalapenos from the pan and set aside, add the seasoned patties to the pan and cook to your preferred doneness (we like medium rare-medium).
  • Chop the lettuce, slice the tomatoes, and add to the bowls with the guacamole.
  • Add the eggs to the pan and cook to your preferred over ease/medium.
  • Add bacon and cheese to the burgers and cover the pan to melt the cheese.
  • Once the burgers are finished: put the burgers on top of the bowls, top with the egg and jalapenos and onions.
  • Devour!
