Hi! I’m Leigh Anne from Your Homebased Mom where we are all about finding the pretty and delicious in life.

I am excited to be part of Holiday Bake, Craft and Sew again this year.

A few weeks ago my husband turned to me one day when we were in the car and told me he was in love! I of course expected him to follow up with “with you.” But instead he told me he was in love with the new white chocolate peppermint M & M’s. I had to admit that I was in love with them too. I had been secretly hiding a bag in myoffice drawer!!

I couldn’t wait to bake with them and thought blondies would be the perfect thing. Although I selfishly wasn’t sure I wanted to give up almost a whole bag for a batch of blondies. I decided to go for it. I used my favorite blondie recipe but decided to dress them up a bit.

I had a little helper spending the morning with me and she was as in love with the new M & M’s as I was!

I found the M & M’s at Target but if you are unable to find them or the season is past you could use just regular M & M’s or even the Mint M & M’s.

Are those babies beautiful!??
Put them into your blondie batter but of course you must sneak a few first!
I like to line my 9 x 13 pan with foil and then spray it with baking spray. Makes it much easier to remove the blondies from the pan. Pat the batter down into the lined pan.

After they bake and cool remove them from the pan by lifting up on the foil. You then want to trim off the edges of the blondies.

Then I cut them into 1 x 3″ rectangles. The perfect size to eat or put on a stick for a little more fun. Who doesn’t like eating food on a stick!?!

I used lollipop sticks that I picked up in the cake decorating aisle of the craft store. Insert before they cool too much. You want them to still be somewhat soft so the stick goes in easily.

All lined up and ready to dip in chocolate.

I like to use the Wilton Melts because they melt so nice and smooth. I dipped just the top half into the chocolate and then sprinkled with some crushed up candy cane.

I covered over the white lollipop stick with a cute paper straw. I also added a cupcake liner to make a little skirt. A great place for crumbs to fall!

Wouldn’t a bouquet of white chocolate peppermint blondies on a stick make a fun holiday gift!

Enjoy!
Leigh Anne
