I tweeted something to a couple of ladies that I adore on Twitter and this popped up within SECONDS in my stream:
I’m curious.
Do y’all know what she’s talking about?
(hint:Β It’s something I’ve never eaten before)

Nutella!
I’ve never eaten it either….Nutella.
WHAT THE EFFENHEIMER? You ladies need to expand your sandwich horizons: peanut butter & nutella sammich. DONE and done.
Nah, it’s just that awesome. Amazing, awesome stuff.
ha! I think you should follow directions ASAP…something has to be open this late.
My kiddos love it and eat it all the time with fruit or on bread .
Man, I HATE Nutella.
Heavenly! We love it on bread!
My first jar of Nutella was last year. I still remember my first taste. It was a happy day.
I haven’t eaten it yet, either. I trust your tastebuds. I’ll wait to hear what you think. (My husband had some at work and had the same “where-have-you-been-all-my-life” reaction as a lot of people.)
Caitlyn LOVES Nutella! It is a hazelnut spread.
If its Nutella, then ICK. I think I OD’d on that stuff a few years back and now even the smell of it makes my stomach churn. But you go ahead and enjoy! :O)
I’m on my first jar. LOVE! Not in huge quantities, but with a graham cracker – oh yes.
I thought it was going to be whipped peanut butter.. my girlfriend says that stuff is heavenly! But I’m all over the nutella … I might eat it spread on dirt.
If it is Nutella, yes… it is awesome in a jar. Wonderful with bananas, or waffles, or in cookies, just about anything.
Mmmmm….Nutella. Oddly enough, I like to eat it with wheat thins. Or spread it on a tortilla and then wrap up a banana. Or on “grilled chocolate sammiches” with the kids.
Nutella, nutella, nutella!!! π
(yes its that good)
Try nutella spread thinly on a toasted bagel half. to.die.for!
They also carry FAMILY-SIZED Nutella (just sayin’)
My sister eats Nutella. I just don’t see the big deal over it. Now, if you want to talk about Heaven in a jar there’s the Peanut Butter Company’s White Chocolate peanut butter and their Dark chocolate Peanut Butter. That’s some good stuff!!
DON’T DO IT!!! IT’S LIKE METH!!!
I’m having some right now, actually! The typical breakfast around here is Nutella on bread and apple slices. We go through two of the BIG jars a month. Hmm, it could be from all the spoonfuls I sneak after the kids go to bed…
It doesn’t suck shmeared on a banana or on strawberries either-just sayin’…
I’m guessing Nutella…and I’ve never had any either.
http://thismomswired.com/2010/05/crunchy-french-toast-with-chocolate-filling/ You can use Nutella in this = DIVINE.
I forgo the fruit, the bread and anything else that gets in the way. Straight out of jar for me!
Looks like there are a lot of us who haven’t eaten Nutella before!!
I had Nutella once – they put it on crepes in France. Never thought to buy it here though.
You should try Nutella spread on plain sweet-ish biscuits. We have a biscuit called a Marie biscuit in SA that works so very well with this.
Or even better… take strawberries and dip them in the Nutella :)) heavenly!
My step son doesn’t like peanut butter so I introduced him to Nutella…boy that was a mistake…he ate an entire jar in a week! His favorite is nutella and fresh strawberry sandwich.
I am allergic to peanuts but miss peanut butter TERRIBLY!!! Nutella is the next best thing, maybe even better because it has chocolate in it!
Nutella is so yummy with either strawberries or vanilla wafers!!!!!
I bought my first jar of Nutella this year, but I do not really “love” it. I think it has a bit of an aftertaste that is annoying to me. My hubby really does like it, though. Now, on that same pb aisle, you will probably find something else that I tried for the first time…almond butter! It is very yummy and I like it best on apple slices or graham cracker. I am not much of a bread eater, so a sandwich will never be one of my first choices. You need to try both, but not necessarily at the same time. Oh, and for the record, my favorite coffee is hazlenut cream, so it is not the hazelnuts that I dislike.
I’m a recent fan of it, although my kids can eat it by the jarful. I love it with yogurt, milk, and banana in a blender (smoothie!) Ssoooooo gooood!
There’s a really amazing bakery that makes Nutella Crepes here. They are to DIE for! I’ve never had it on or with anything else. Or alone for that matter.
Don’t do it! One try, and you’re hooked, you’re some Nutella addict. You’ll never be able to go back. Don’t do it!
Nutella. Recently bought a jar of my own for the first time!!
I love it on a basic sweet crepe recipe! I spread it on French bread when I’m lazy. Sooo good. LOVE nutella. π
Ok, I’m convinced… I’m going to try some next time I’m at the Store, but Rachel if you beat me to it I want to know what you think!
I can’t buy it -otherwise I will begin eating it and I cannot stop. Is there such a thing as NA – Nutella Anonymous? π
I always think it tastes exactly like Ferrero Rocher chocolates. YUM! Actually I think it’s made by the same company…
Nutella π don’t try it: delicious, yummy, addicting and not good if you need to lose weight π Wish I hadn’t discovered. I am so happy to have found your blog – two of my faves, food and photography!!! I am now following. I am hosting an annual Holiday Recipe Exchange starting Monday and would love for you to join and share something.
