Happy Sunday, y’all! I hope your last week was filled with yummy food, family time, and fun! You know what Sunday means…. it’s time for another Weekly Meal Plan full of delicious and easy recipes.
This week’s meal plan features one of my favorite comfort foods from childhood, and it’s still one of my favorites. There are some twists on family favorites, a date night, and some oh my good gracious chocolate brownies.
Let’s talk, y’all, do y’all go on date nights with your spouse? How about scheduled dates with your kids? I love the idea of date nights, Nathan and I actually do date days, as he has one day off during the week while the kids are at school – we go out to lunch at a different restaurant each time, we walk, we talk, and sometimes we’re even productive around the house!! I would love for each of us to pick one night a month and each of us take one of the kids out to eat; start a new family tradition. If you do this, I’d love to hear about it!
With the Holiday season in full swing – there are going to be lots of sweets coming up on A Southern Fairytale, but I promise that I’ll try to temper it with some healthier main dish meals, and maybe even some side dishes. Are there any particular recipes y’all are interested in seeing? Chicken, Beef, Soups, Casseroles.. Talk to me!
