One Code from one of your favorite products, something already in your pantry, can help provide one meal to a child in need.
Sounds so easy, doesn’t it?
Well, it is… just that easy.
How easy you ask?
Let me show you.
The last time that I went shopping for the ingredients for my Healthier Chicken Parmesan; I looked for the cans of Hunt’s Tomatoes with the Child Hunger Ends Here pushpin and code
I entered the code online at the Child Hunger Ends Here website and that equals one meal for the Feeding America network to provide to Food Banks.
In addition to donating meals to the Feeding America Food, when you enter a code you are given a free download for one of 3 songs recorded by Jewel, Owl City or Jay Sean.
Did I mention that I got to meet Jewel when I flew to LA to work with ConAgra and the L.A. Regional Food Bank to stuff backpacks full of food for local city kids to take home to help feed their families.
She is so down to earth and lovely and just the teensiest, most darlin’ person.
So here’s the thing:
16 million children in America face hunger and not knowing where their next meal comes from.
YOU can help provide that next meal.
It’s as easy as looking for the Child Hunger Ends Here pushpin and code on your favorite ConAgra products.
A few of those products to look for the code on are:
It’s easier than you think to make a difference, you can do it just by shopping to feed your own family.
Do you volunteer at your local food bank? Do you donate food? Do you shop and look for the pushpins and codes?
I am a Child Hunger Ends Here ambassador and this post is written as a part of my partnership with them.
We don’t buy many pre-package foods or those brands, BUT I’m so glad they are giving back in that way. Thanks for sharing!
I do volunteer at the Houston Food Bank with my school. I think giving back to your community is so important! I look forward to teaching my kids about this.

Thanks, Tara! I think it’s wonderful that you and your family volunteer at the Food Bank! Such a great way to teach your family about giving back and personal blessings.
We volunteer at the local food bank and donate food. But this is also a great way of getting kids excited when we go grocery shopping. It can be like a “Where’s Waldo” game, but instead a “Where’s the Pushpin” game. My kids would love that!
I love that idea, Shawn! You’re such a fun Mama xo
Thanks for spreading the news for such a wonderful cause. Didn’t know about the codes until you mentioned. I’ll start looking for codes and entering them at the link.
Thanks for sharing that. I will be on the lookout as I shop.
I only buy Hunts, didn’t know about the code. I should read labels more often.
Hello, I saw your link at inkatrinaskitchen.com and had to stop by. This is so nice from you. Thanks for spreading the news for such a good cause.
The blog looks great too. Have a great day!
