Happy Monday, y’all.  We’re on Spring Break this week and while the weather isn’t cooperating, my kitchen is. 🙂  We’ve made stir fry,  some incredibly delicious basic chocolate chip cookies (at Princess’ request) I’ll be sharing the recipe this week, and we have grilled up some of our favorite poblano burgers

I’d love to hear what you’re cooking up with your family.

It’s time to share the scrumptious recipes that caught my eye during last week’s Mouthwatering Mondays link-up

  • I’ve heard of Sauerbrauten before {We did live in New Braunfels for several years} but I’ve never had it, nor did I realize how much goes into the preparation of it.  Camille from Growing Up Gabel has me intrigued with her recipe, and while there’s a bit of a prep time – the resulting dish.. oh. my. stars.  Yep – I think I must make her Easy Sauerbrauten Recipe – because anything that combines marinated roast and veggies with ginger snaps… how could I not?

  • Princess is obsessed with lemon desserts. She wants to make all the lemon desserts, so when I showed her this recipe for Lemon Cake with White Chocolate Mousse frosting from A Spoonful of Flavor – she actually squealed with excitement.  It has been added to our Things to Make on Spring Break list.  It sounds so bright and delicious and the pictures are so tempting! I can’t wait to make it with her!

  • I have to let y’all in on a secret. I can’t turn down a Twix – seriously, it’s one of my all time-top 5-favorite candy bars.  So when I saw these Caramel Twix Cookies from Swanky Recipes… I may have swooned. Oh. My. Word.  Must. Make!
