So much summer happening around here!  I have a working computer again {YAY} but so many moments where I could have worked, have been pre-empted by freckle faced kids with sparkling eyes who want me to spend time with them.

We’ve been heatin’ up our bbq and cooling off at the sprinkler park and by going out on the boat.

There are fireworks on the horizon and yummy bbq in our future as we celebrate the 4th of July in our new neighborhood with new friends and new traditions.

Lemon Blueberry Crepes with a fresh homemade buttermilk syrup by Taste Holland.  These crepes just scream summer, light tangy bursting lemon paired with rich blueberries… YUM.

 

 

Summer is made for lazy breakfast mornings, treats and kitchen experimentation.  When Julie from Peanut Butter & Julie posted her recipe for Key Lime Pie Doughnuts with Coconut Glaze, I was a goner.  Key lime pie and coconut – along with a fresh doughnut… I knew these had to be featured this week!

Blueberries and Lemon … are y’all seeing a pattern this week?  I just can’t resist the combination and when you combine Blueberries and Lemon with cheesecake like Jenn from Jenn’s Random Scraps did with these Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake Bars! WOW!
