Did you have a delicious weekend?  We visited Old Town Katy, ran into a sorority sister of mine that I haven’t seen in more than 13 years, ate some scrumptious steak sandwiches, bought hand-knit goods from local artists, and the kids wrote their letters to Santa. We ate tamales, chicken poblano soup, laughed, talked, and gave Thanks for the many blessings we have.

Time to talk Mouthwatering Mondays and share the features from last week’s linky!

Y’all definitely linked up some deliciousness last week!

  • Look at this gorgeous Pistachio-Cranberry Bark from Flour On My Face; love the wonderful mix of flavors: sweet, salty, creamy, savory! It’s just as much a treat for the eyes as it is the taste buds with the creamy whites, rich reds, and sparkling green.

  • This Applesauce Crumb Cake from Raias Recipes looks incredibly rich, flavorful, and moist – and it’s gluten and dairy free!  The sharpness of her photo, the depth of field, and her lovely simple styling drew me in.
