Happy Monday Morning!

Let’s start today out with something a bit delicious.

Italian Cream Cake at Moody Gardens

Moody Gardens and The City of Galveston Visitors Bureau hosted a lunch at Blog Elevated on Friday, and they began the lunch with Italian Cream Cake slices on each table.  I have oodles of respect for a place that begins the meal with one of my favorite desserts on the table.  I met some tremendously talented people this weekend, learned quite a bit, and had a wonderful experience at Blog Elevated; more about that later.

Y’all brought the deliciousness this past week.

Let’s start with this creamy, rich, delicious Cheesy Chicken and Vegetable Soup from Cozy Country Living on This Silly Girl’s Life.

  1. I loved that Italian Cream cake, and you’re right. Anyone who starts off with cake is good in my book. I can’t wait to try that Cheesy Chicken & Vegetable soup. It’s like all my favorite cold weather soups combined in one! Now if we could just get Texas weather on board with the whole “it’s Fall” thing it’d be perfection. I’m so happy to have met you over the weekend! You are truly talented and one of the sweetest people I’ve met. oxox, Amanda
