Happy Monday, y’all!

Look at this gorgeous cheesecake that my brother made for my birthday!

Strawberry Cheesecake with cocoa puffs crust, chocolate gananche and blackberry infused, white chocolate drizzle

That’s a strawberry cheesecake with a cocoa puff crust, chocolate ganache glaze, and a blackberry infused white chocolate drizzle.  {I know!!!} The garnish was fresh blackberries and real mint.

It was out of this world incredible.  It was light and fluffy, the fresh strawberries made it incredibly succulent.  Nathan hates cheesecake, but after one bite of my piece he snagged his own slice and ate the whole thing!  I’m going to try to get my brother to share the recipe with me so I can share it with y’all.  Heis the executive chef of Blackwater Draw in College Station; if you’re ever in the area stop in and eat some scrumptious food and tell him Hi!  His name is William.

Y’all shared some incredible recipes last week!  I can’t wait to see what y’all have been cooking this past week! Here are a few of my favorites from last week’s link-up.

I adore Life with The Crust Cut Off, and these Lemon Oatmeal Iced Tea Cookies sound like a delicious bit of homemade summer!  I love how she incoporated a couple of her mom’s favorite things to make her a sweet treat.  Y’all hop on oever and say Hi and check out her Lemon Oatmeal Iced Tea Cookies!

Blueberries are a weakness of mine.  Monkey joins me in my blueberry passion.  I about fell out of my chair when I saw this gorgeous Rustic Blueberry Galette recipe linked up from A Hungry Pilgrim.  I can’t wait to try this!  I wish I had a blueberry patch so I could make dozens of these, I’d share, promise!

Triscuits are pretty much a staple pantry item in our house.  We take them camping, on the boat, on picnics, in the backyard.. whatever.  I would never have thought to pair them strawberries and balsamic vinegar, though.  These Strawberry Ricotta Bites from Home Cooking Memories are pretty much genius, and gorgeous!

  1. Thanks so much for hosting! This is one of my favorite link-ups to come and visit, there are always so many wonderful recipes to collect! The cheesecake your brother made you looks a little beyond my talents, but sure looks wonderful! What a talented brother you have! I love the strawberry ricotta bits, they look really tasty, and different than the same old thing. I think they will be very tasty with the balsamic as an addition!

  2. OMG, thank you so much for featuring my recipe, Rachel! I just love your blog and you are such a sweetheart.

I can’t believe your brother is an executive chef! My brother can barely work the toaster. 😉 You must be so proud. And that cheesecake looks ah-mazing. Hope you had a lovely birthday.

  3. The cheesecake your brother made looks incredible! I will definitely have to check out Blackwater Draw next time Chris and I are in College Station. I am also planning to earmark your Lemondrop Martini recipe. Great working with you yesterday at HEB!
