My goodness but this week has been a doozy.

Getting back into the groove after BlogHer Food, and then having my hard drive crash and losing 3 months of photos, post ideas, recipes and memories.

This past week has certainly drained me, but y’all have inspired me with your recipes, your love, and your optimism.

I have several recipes in queue for y’all, that I’m so excited about!

Texas Peach Cobbler Ice Cream with Texas Bourbon Caramel Sauce, Roasted Slow Cooker Chicken Salad with Cranberries, and mango margaritas…. but all have to be re-made and re-written due to my lack of preparation and loss.

If you haven’t backed your stuff up.. go do it NOW.

Trust me that the frustration, annoyance, disappointment and aggravation if you don’t…. ugh.

On to happier things..

The No Bake Lemon Ice Box Cake from Six Sisters Stuff cools me off just by looking at it.  I can only imagine how delicious it would be on a hot summer day; cool, creamy, easy, delicious, and wonderfully refreshing.

I’m a bred in the bone Texas girl, with Kentucky roots, and those roots love bread pudding.  I can recall the first time that I had bourbon soaked bread pudding that was made with love.  There’s nothing like a good homemade bread pudding – not the soggy mess you get at restaurants, but honest to goodness REAL bread pudding.  That’s why the Very Berry Bread Pudding by Rachel piqued my interest and had my mouth watering.

I’m not much for sweets first thing in the morning, but I have a weakness for cake doughnuts, and very now and then there’s just nothing like biting into a homemade doughnut and then licking the delicious frosting off your fingers.  For those times when decadence is the only road, and you want homemade.. these Chocolate Glazed Baked Doughnuts from Beela Bakes are the right answer to whatever questions you may have.

This week is going to be a buy one, with volleyball camp, a trip to California, re-photographing recipes and trying to edit pictures and work my way around a really old computer… I absolutely cannot wait to see what y’all have in store for me this week.

Thank y’all so much for participating in Mouthwatering Mondays!
