Happy Cinco de Mayo!

How was your weekend?  Did you do anything fun?

We got a bit dirty and did a 5K as a family, it was a blast!

Color Fun Fest 5K in Houston

#ColorFunFest #EpicTour

I can’t wait to see what you’ve been sharing with your families and friends this week!  Bring on the delicious recipes, but first, here are a few favorites from last week’s Mouthwatering Mondays

  • Tiramisu is pretty much one of my favorite decadent treats – if I’m at a restaurant and they have Tiramisu on their menu, it’s pretty much a given that I’ll order it.  I’ve tried making Tiramisu at home, but haven’t had any luck — yet.  I’m a southerner, therefore Poke cake is pretty much the cake of my people, combine that with Tiramisu.. and my little Southern heart did a double flip.  Y’all have to check out this gorgeous Tiramius Poke Cake from Life With The Crust Cut Off.

  • Tequila.  Lime.  Fudge.  Did your mouth just pucker and salivate just a little bit?  Mine did as soon as I saw that recipe title, and then when I saw the bright, zesty picture of The Sweet Chick’s Tequila Lime Coconut Fudge and read all about the balance of the tequila, the coconut, and the chocolate…. well, I was sold.  I may have to make some of this for our block Cinco de Mayo party, or because it’s Monday, or a day that ends in Y, or maybe because my tequila bottle in the pantry is now looking just a bit tastier.  I blame The Sweet Chick, or I thank her?  I’m not sure yet.  Either way.. check out her Tequila Lime Coconut Fudge recipe.

    1. Hi Gayle!

All but the oldest recipes on my blog are easily printable thanks to the Ziplist recipe formatting! All you need to do is click on the print icon in the recipe and it will print right out! Glad you like them!

  2. I LOVE that you did that 5K together as a family. Those look like so much fun – it’s on my bucket list, but we aren’t quite ready to do it here. But wow look at those guns on you, girlie! 😉
