Mouthwatering Mondays {Week 30}

Happy Monday, y’all!

I’m excited to jump back into the Mouthwatering Mondays gig.  It’s like slipping into a favorite pair of comfy jeans, and having them fit perfectly; like biscuits and gravy – chicken fried lobster and creme brulee’ french toast… a perfect pairing.

Let’s dive right in and get started!

Our favorite Saturday restaurant is Chuy’s.  For more than 15 years, Chuy’s has held a special place in my heart, because it was the place my Dad and I met for lunch when I was in High School and when I’d come home from college.  Their Creamy jalapeno ranch dipping sauce/dressing/condiment is renowned.  People are quite passionate about it.  Once I was of legal adult beverage age, their frozen margaritas and Creamy Jalapeno Ranch became a pairing that rivals any peanut butter and jelly pairing  that you can think of.

Doughnuts that taste like sugar cookies in miniature form.

Oh. My. YES PLEASE.

The Sweet Chick rocked this week’s linky with her Mini Sugar Cookie Doughnuts recipe  not only is her recipe yummy and easy, her pictures are absolutely mouth wateringly delish!

 

I have really fond moments of fruit roll ups, and fruit jerky – I love the slightly sweet, somewhat tangy taste of fruit roll ups and the kid in me loves tearing the roll up into strips and dangling it into my mouth.

I would love to give the Strawberry Rollups recipe from Moms and Munchkins a try when strawberries and rasberries come back into season!
