Happy Mouthwatering Monday! Hope y’all had a delicious weekend! Ours was filled with recipe testing, playing in the rain, go cart rides and learning to skateboard!
There was some serious deliciousness last week, I spent a good portion of my time drooling over my keyboard and I blame it all on y’all 🙂
Alright, let’s talk food!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nate and I have a deep and abiding love for Mango Chutney, especially when paired with grilled stuffed jalapenos – therefore I was immediately intrigued and delighted by Stacey’s Crockpot Sweet Apple Chutney!
S’mores and Popcorn, I would never have thought to combine the two, but once I saw Shawn’s delicious S’mores Popcorn recipe it was like a delicious epiphany! Get the recipe for S’mores Popcorn on I Wash, You Dry!
These smoked salmon boats caught my eye due to their adorable presentation, once I read the ingredients I knew these were something I wanted to feature and make (soon!) Smoked Salmon Sailing Boats recipe on KiddieFoodies
April’s Banana Rum Raisin Cake – well, need I say more? Banana Rum Raisin Cake. ’nuff said
Now on to the kids’ picks for the week!
Monkey’s Pick:
The Burger Cake from Beela Bakes because: “It’s Awesome”
Princess’ Pick:
The Watermelon Slice Cookies from Six Sister’s Stuff and My Recipe Magic because: “They look like summer, but they’re cookies; it’s like the best of both worlds!”
See! So much deliciousness! I can’t wait to see what y’all have to share this week!
In case you missed it I shared the Spiked Peach Cobbler Ice Cream with Texas Bourbon Caramel Sauce recipe last week. Y’all really should try it, it’s amazing.
Thanks so much for featuring our Watermelon Slice Cookies! We appreciate it so much! Have a great week and thanks for hosting this week. -The Six Sisters
