Princess amazes me. She is funny, smart, spunky, obnoxious, beautiful, energetic, compassionate, and vibrant.
This week Princess was ‘reading’ a magazine and turns to me all excited: “Mom! Look, an impostrophe”
I’ll be damned if there wasn’t an ‘apostrophe’ in one of the words. How on earth does my 4 1/2 year old know not only what an apostrophe is, but how to correctly identify one?

Children are so observant that sometimes they only have to hear or see something once. What a smart little thing you have there!
Its that royal blood. Princesses are simply born knowing any number of things AGES before anyone expects them to.
Trust me. Its in the Princess Handbook. Somewhere around page 267, I think.
It’s it great when your kid get old enough to have apostrophes…um, err…epiphanies?
She not only can identify them, she can improve how they’re pronounced. I like impostrophe so much better then apostrophe. There’s so much more depth. Im going to start using it now. Oops, that last “I’m” was missing an impostrophe.

oh! could she be in my class please? I teach that to 2nd grades and they don’t always get it right.

Once my daughter used the word misogynistic correctly at age 7 and I was stunned.
It’s amazing the things they pick up.
And saying “im” postrophes is too cute!

Because children are born geniuses and could rule the world except for the pooping on themselves thing. I think us parents dumb them down to save ourselves. My daughter can’t walk or talk, but she knows what the TV remote does, and that the iPod cranks out tunes she can dance to. Frightening.
She’s totally doing the princess look in that outfit! I’m always amazed at what comes out of their mouths. It’s crazy, no?
My middle child is the one that does stuff like that (more often than my other two kids). I never know what amazing piece of SOMETHING will come out of his mouth. Kids are AMAZING with what they can pick up and spout back out again.
We have the SAME scooter and we too try to match our outfits to it.
So stinking cute she is.
So cute! My daughter thinks the punctuation at the end of a sentence is called a pyramid. It makes me smile every time.
She is such a smartie!
