This Saltine Cracker Candy aka Cracker Toffee aka Christmas Crack(er)

 
 

Hey y’all! Welcome to DAY 6 of #bakecraftsew Handmade Holidays!

 
Hello there!! It’s Jamie, Jodie and Jennifer from Eighteen25.
Eighteen25 is a place where us three sisters share free printables, inexpensive gift ideas, DIY projects + crafts and some of our favorite recipes. It is so exciting to be participating in the Bake, Craft & Sew Along again this year. And we are so excited to share a yummy and super simple holiday treat with you all today.

INGREDIENTS:

• Saltine crackers (around 40-45)

• 1 cup brown sugar, packed

• 1 cup of butter (2 sticks)

• 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips

 

DIRECTIONS:

• Line a 9×13 pan with aluminum foil and line sheet with crackers.

• Mix the butter and brown sugar together in a saucepan.

• On low heat, bring to a boil. Let boil for 5 minutes.

• Pour mixture evenly over crackers.

• Bake at 350° for 5 minutes.

• Sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers and spread evenly to cover the entire pan.

• Completely cool in the refrigerator then break into smaller pieces.

Saltine Cracker Candy

This 4 ingredient Saltine Cracker candy is an easy and delicious holiday treat. It’s chocolate and salt and crunch and bite!

Ingredients

  • Saltine Crackers 40 to 45
