  1. I love making cookies year round, especially during the holidays. But nothing screams holiday season louder than pie.

  2. I have a Wilton cake pan that uses a pound cake mix to bake a standing cake that is in the shape of a gingerbread house. For the last 24 Christmas’ my daughter and I have decorated the cake to look like a stable and place some nativity figures in front. Our family has always referred to it as the “Baby Jesus” cake and it is a major part of our Christmas celebration.

  3. I am soooooo looking forward to this, can’t wait to see all the wonderful recipes that will be shared. I’m not much for sewing, but I try, LOL. I do knit and I love to bake!!
    Thank you!!!!

  4. Gathering all the kids together to make and decorate Christmas cookies has been a tradition for a very loooong time. Lots of fun!

  5. I usually crochet items to give away, hats, scarves, afghans or pot holders! But this year I’m trying my hand at sewing (a little) and making decorative stockings!

  6. I like to try lots of different things for the holidays, but a classic is decorating sugar cookies with royal icing. I even let my young daughters in on it…so fun!

  7. Just found your recipe for the Rum Raisin shortbread cookies. My hubby will be in heaven when I make these. He was born in Scotland and anything shortbread, rum, and currants is definitely on his all-time favorites list. πŸ™‚

  8. In addition to various sweet treats, we usually give some locally grown popcorn. My daughters made rice packs a couple years ago for their gymnastics coaches. The Oreo truffles make good gifts, too.

  9. I am not a huge sweets fan, but the holidays are not the same without pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving and snickerdoodles on Christmas πŸ™‚ My grandmother who passed about 2 years ago LOVED sweets and baked them to perfection. In her memory, I plan to learn to bake more and continue to keep these holiday favorites a tradition.

  10. I try to make as many different cookies as possible…I make everyone in my family their favorite, then I see how many more I can bake.

  11. I love to bake pumpkin everything! And ham! From now until January 2nd the kitchen and I will be busy making beautiful things!

  12. What a difficult question! There are so many to choose from. Guess I would have to go with something sweet or bready.

  13. My granny’s fantastic Georgia generational Southern Cornbread Stuffing..and, it is the first to get 86’d every year..so good.
    Thanks

  14. My favorite thing to make during the holidays is most definitely roasted turkey and a healthy cornbread made with coconut flour instead of white flour. I also love to make my mom’s recipe for green beans. I just love Thanksgiving!:) Thanks for your amazing recipes and that chocolate cashew bark is on my to-do list today:) Have a wonderful holiday and thanks for the giveaway!

  15. I love your site and think your giveaway is the bomb! Our favorite dishes for the holidays are always homemade everything- cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, stuffing… am looking forward to trying some of your recipes this year! Thanks!
