I’ve been tagged! Again!!
This one looks interesting though, so I’m going to do it.
The amazingly sweet and talented Kimmylyn at Jogging In Circles tagged me for the Peek Inside Meme, so here goes.

How long have you been blogging?

Well, I had an old blog that started back in March of 2007 and lasted through, March of 2007. Then November 4, 2007 I moved to this blog and here I am. A whopping 3 months later πŸ™‚

What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?
I love to write, I always have. But I can’t ‘write’ by pen for long or my hand cramps really badly. The amazingly talented mistress of snark, Courtney at The Only Thing I Know was the first blog that I ever read and the first blogger that I knew. She is the one who inspired me to start. I don’t know that I have any mentors so much as people I stalk and idolize πŸ™‚ Courtney, Jennifer, Alli, Casey, Mishi and Lotus. Each of those women I admire for their various talents, wit and abilities in this great blogosphere. I strive to one day be as witty, fun, amusing and talented as they are.

Are you trying to make money online, or just doing it for fun?
I am doing it for myself, but I wouldn’t be opposed to making money off of it. πŸ™‚
Who wouldn’t like to have some extra cash. Plus, I miss pulling in a paycheck. I’ve always worked, since I was about 15 and it’s really weird and disconcerting almost… to not be.
I blog because I’m trying to get back into writing, I love chronicling my kids lives and insanity for friends and family around the country. It’s easier and cheaper than my other addiction, scrapbooking.
Blogging allows me to express myself and be creative. It’s been a learning experience for me and I love it.

What 3 things do you love about being online?
1. The learning aspect. I’ve become much more technologically savvy since being online, I’m learning photoshop and a teensy weensy bit of code.
2. I am learning alot about myself as well. Discovering that I have a passion for photography and an obsession with a certain camera
3. I love the different women and men from all walks of life that I’ve come in contact with. I love the subtle way each one influences me, teaches me and adds something to my life and my perspective.

What 3 things do you struggle with online?
1. Time
2. numbers
3. Time

I’m not going to tag anyone on this, but I adore each of my readers, new and old.
If you would like to do this I would love to come read about you.

(Disappears down street, tap-dancing with joy)

  2. Ooooo! You’re a real newbie – almost @ your 1 year mark though! I’ve been blogging since 2004 – don’t let the new one fool ya!! πŸ™‚

  3. Immoral.. I dont’ know that I would count blogging for 1 month in March and then taking a hiatus until November being nearly at my 1 year mark πŸ™‚ LOL.
I’ll go with 3 down.. 9 more months to go!

    Thanks y’all!
    Thanks Ohmommy!! You, too!

  4. I like reading your blog too!

About the job, I hear ya. I miss all the shopping money I had when I was pulling in a paycheck.

  5. Thanks so much for doing this !! And I cannot believe you have only been around for three months.. You would never know with your following and how effortless you make blogging appear!!

  6. Wow – you have quite a following for someone who hasn’t been blogging very long! I was tagged on this too and I’m gonna do it soon.

  7. You started your current blog the day before me!
No wonder you are my mentor, you had a full day lead on me.
    ;>)
I got tagged for this too. It looks like fun.

  8. OK I don’t actually HAVE Photoshop on this computer, but have you seen the cool things Bossy is doing on HER blog? http://www.iambossy.com I’ve also seen some fun things done with Gimp http://www.gimp.org

But don’t expect to find anything fun on my blog for at least a day because I’m not done yet. I have this elaborate vision and I’ll have to be discouraged for several hours before I settle for something equally just fine.
Nice to meet you, love your blog- you are so funny.

  9. ‘me’ Why thank you very much.
I’ll go check out Bossy and I look forward to the day you come out of your hidden bloggydom and share yourself with the world πŸ™‚ LOL.

  10. Your blog is wonderful…that’s great that you’ve picked up on some code and definitely seen some skills with photoshop πŸ™‚ Great meme post!

  12. I got tagged too, my very first meme! And you should come read it, because I’ve missed you! I love your blog, you really are quite witty!

  13. I love your blog! I can’t write with a pen for very long either, but I can type for hours πŸ˜‰ I have a love affair with my camera too, so I can totally relate!

  14. Hiya, that was really interesting to read. I was kinda similar – let’s see, I read Mimi Smartypants in 2005, went onto diaryland and kept a blog . . . for two posts. Then it wasn’t until I was on bebo early last year that I remembered I loved blogging. I actually found my two blogs the other night and am going to post them shortly cos i just sounded sooo defeatist in them and it made me realise i’m actually quite happy now!!! πŸ™‚ ps is the pink eye epidemic done?

  15. I stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago. I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I really enjoy reading your blog, I never would have guessed that you’ve only been around a few months!

  16. Oh, Time! Time, you are a fickle beast! How you steal away, leaving me with little of you to smear around the Internet!
    *shakes fists in the air*

    Lovely blog!

  17. I’m with you, I write for fun, but would love to make money as well. But I have resigned myself to the fact I have to pick one goal, and fun won out. I also worked continuously from age 17 until 35. So it would be nice to have an income again, but I love being home though!
