HolidayBakeCraftSewAlong

I am so excited to tell y’all that I’m partnering with Cindy from Skip To My Lou and Kelly from According To Kelly for a Handmade Holiday Christmas in July extravaganza!  We’ve gathered over 3 dozen bloggers who are extraordinary bakers, crafters and sewers, and they’re going to share their talent with us and hopefully inspire us to do a handmade holiday!

Starting this Monday each of our blogs will feature a different blogger, and a new project. I’m going to have all the nommy edible goodies, Kelly the crafty gift ideas and Cindy all the sewing ideas.  We are hoping to encourage everyone to make beautiful handmade gifts this holiday! —and  if we all start now we will be prepared for the upcoming Holiday season… hopefully eliminating just a wee bit of stress!

We need your help too! We will be asking you to upload photos of your handmade gifts  to our flickr group and for the next few Mondays link your handmade gift ideas and tutorials on Cindy’s Made By You Mondays. You can help get the word out by tweeting with the hashtag #handmadeholiday.

  1. What a nice idea!! Starting now will not only eliminate some stress, it might also help the Christmas budget!! Good thinking!

  2. I bought the ingredients for your homemade granola last grocery trip and I hope to make it this weekend. I already know I’m going to love it and I had the thought that a cellophane bag of it tied with a pretty ribbon and the recipe attached would make a nice gift for teachers and local friends.

    1. Rebecca, have I told you lately how much I adore you? Because if not, I’m seriously remiss 😉

I think it would make a great gift! Thank you, honey 😉 xoxxo I can’t wait to hear what y’all think!

  3. Awesome! I love handmade stuff! I’ve already been thinking about Christmas around here and what I can get for others. Getting a few ideas early sounds great to me! I may even pre-make some candies and freeze them so I don’t have as much to do this year as I did last year!
