Princess tells me. ‘Coz it’s red’
‘Not black like Daddy’s’
The wisdom of 4
so I have a strawberry
Dad, a blackberry
Oh my strawberry
I love your sleek lines, big face
user friendly keys
Yet, you tease and taunt
You are unlike the others
A puzzle to me
I will decipher,
I will crack open your vault
and learn your secrets
I will master you
become the strawberry queen.
Y’all got any tips?
You can find more haikus at Jennifer’s place. Be brave, play the 5-7-5 word game and sign the Mr. Linky. It’s fun, come on, you know you want to do it!!
By the way.
The Eye/Face is doing much better. Thank you so much for all of your love and comments and story sharing. XOXO
I SERIOUSLY want that blackberry. Seriously.
I’m glad that your Princess is on the mend. She’s too cute to be sporting a mark such as that one π
Yes, she’s looking better already!
I like the name Strawberry much better! That is a smart girl you have there! π
Oooh. Nicey nicey….
I’m still waiting for my iPhone.
have fun figuring out the new toy!!
And the eye/face definately looks much better already! I’m glad she’s still doing well. HUGS to her!
I am so envious. This is the one I have been telling my husband I want. Fingers crossed!
And Strawberry is a much better name for it! π
I just read the pencil/eye story. Oh my goodness! You summed up the emotions we moms go through during calamities like that.
LOVING the “strawberry”. π
I love me some strawberries! It’s gorgeous.
How about this…
you send that strawberry to me. I will figure out how to work it and then I will send you the instructions.
(Note that I did not say I would send you your strawberry back…mwahahahaha…)
Nice haiku! Love that strawberry.
And I’m so glad that your princess is okay. Scary scary. My middle child has kept me on my toes all his life long. But he has survived, despite broken bones, stitches, and all kinds of bizarre happenings. We still have x-rays of the money in his tummy!
She’s a cutie, by the way!
Becky
On my road to Internet recovery, I’m not allowed to be near such a device.
No tips to offer you here. Great haiku though! I love the “strawberry” vs the blackberry.
Ooooh, what a pretty, pretty crackberry! I’d still take an iphone, though. π
I want one, too. I had a blueberry for a while, but now I have a blackberry like dad’s. π
So glad she is OK…scary!
Love it–strawberry. Good luck figuring it all out–I’ve had my iphone for almost a year and I still don’t get most of it (and that’s with a book to help lol)
Poor little girl–I’m guessing something happened recently–I’ll try to read the old posts π
i love the “strawberry” … that’s awesome.
and i’m glad her eye is looking better. pretty scary stuff!
I am so envious of your strawberry and I love your prompt replies. I just love YOU.
A big mwah to you!!!
Oooohhh…I covet that Strawberry! Thanks for visiting me today (and for confirming that my kiddo looks like me) π
Love “strawberry,” though I have nicknamed my husband’s blackberry “Kiki,” so I can say funny (to me) things.
Glad your princess is feeling better!
Cute Haiku – cute new toy. So glad the Princess’ face is doing better – poor baby!
Have a good weekend, Rachel – see you – Kellan
Poor kiddo! This is like one of my worst fears and in fact my husband and I are so paranoid about pencils that we don’t allow our kids to even stand up with one! Yes, we’re probably crazy.
Thank God she didn’t get that pencil in her eye! It’s always amazed me that any of us have both our eyes intact into adulthood! lol Looking back at my own childhood I’m just lucky I can even see! Too many stories to share here.
Glad she’s getting better!
You should enter my giveaways. Have one on my cake space blog and another on my homeschooling blog. You’ll love ’em both! I just have a feeling about that. π
That was grat. I don’t have a blackberry but I have a Treo and I can’t imagine life without it!
Hah! Strawberry is perfect! Of course a kid would come up with such an obvious name.
So sorry to hear of the pencil incident. She is so lucky it missed her eye…. whew! I know exactly how you must have felt.
My daughter ran into a tree branch and scraped her face badly.
