I Love Bread.

Period. End of story.
I love, adore and am quite passionate about hot, buttery, melt in your mouth, carbohydrate laden, yeasty, buttery, tongue tantalizing doughy, puffy, hot, fresh from the oven, pockets of delight.
I have written about Sister Schubert’s and my love and delight in them before, their cinnamon rolls, yeast rolls and dinner rolls.

The amazingly generous people at Sister Schubert’s have given me a basket like the one pictured above to give to one of you lucky readers. (YAY THEM)

This custom hand-painted basket comes complete with two pans of rolls and your choice of one of the following: Sister Schubert’s own Cranberry Nut Bread; Fly-Off-the-Plate Pancake Mix with Blackberry Patch Syrup; or Cinnamon Pecan Coffee Cake Mix with Blackberry Patch Fruit Butter. These baskets also include Mook’s Cheese Straws, 2 packs of Red Diamond Estate coffee and a hand-decorated, seasonal cookie.

Have you ever had Sister Schubert’s?  What is your favorite product of theirs?  What is your favorite bread delight? Cinnamon rolls, pigs in a blanket, yeast rolls, dinner rolls, buttermilk biscuits???  What tickles your tastebuds?

This contest runs until 11:59PM CST, March 17th.

  4. Ah, sorry about the addiction. Might it have something to do with homemade doughnuts on weekend morning?

  5. I’ve never tried their products. I don’t think I’ve seen them in my local stores. But as a true Southern gal AND being pregnant, I’m a bread lovah. I’ll take it any which way I can….

  7. Are you kidding me? The yeast rolls are THE best thing ever. Especially when pregnant. My family has to hide them from me so I won’t eat them all!!!

  8. Drooling! I am a total carbivore. Love all things doughy…especially when still warm. I’m a recent transplant to the south and just noticed these in my store but haven’t tried them yet (don’t recall seeing them up north). But I haven’t seen all of the varieties! Oh my. That is what I like about their website…that I can hover over a product and see it up close with a description. Man I’m hungry now. Yum!

  9. Hands down my favorite Sister Schubert product is the cinnamon rolls. Yummy, yummy, yummy!!!!!! I love that I can make a pan of them for the cost of starting up the car and driving to the bakery for 1 roll!!!! And they are just sooooo wonderful….ok, enough about that for now!!!

On their website I love the recipes they have as well as the story behind how Sister Schuberts came into existance.

  11. I’ve never heard of them, either, but I’d be all over that cranberry nut bread. Or the pancake mix. Or the buttermilk biscuits. Or the cinnamon rolls.

    *sigh*

  12. Girl, you are after my heart! I HEART bread too. Can’t live without it.

I have never heard of Sister Schubert! But I will have to track down those cinnamon buns. YUMMO! As for their site, I bookmarked it to use their recipe for Parkerhouse rolls! How awesome that they share the recipe that basically made them famous!
